Actually NO its NOT. Its SMALL part of the game, used by a vast MINORATY of the players. Most whom like you seem to think its the most important part of the game when it was just a lil unimportant add on. If all you want to do is pvp fine go play the pvp edition. But the constant need to nerf PVE skills so that it does'nt effect pvp is geting beyond a joke. Just think of it no more needing to unlock skils EVER. In the pvp version of the game you have everything unlocked form the moment you start.
As for sins thier not a good class and never will be. Even though I really enjoyed playing my rit. I stoped playing him now and don't see my self playing him again soon if ever. Unlike my paragon.

How can anyone say pvp is a small part of this game used by a small minority of people. Pvp is the only sole thing(maybe besides farming....sigh) that keeps people from leaving this game. Face it, after you beat the new game once ...twice....five times it starts to get boring as hell. There is only so much farming the average person can do unless u love to do boring tedious things over and over of course. So what is there to do after u have finished or gave up on the pve portion of the game....oh ye go pvp.
There are countless new builds made up every day by the people who play this game and the only way to experience this is in pvp. Sure u can go pretend to be challenged killing a boss that uses the same skills every time, or u can go play with the people and have an actual challenge. I mean if u seriously think that this game is hard, maybe it isnt the game for you.
Pvp is the only thing that keeps people here because it has no end. You cant finish pvp nor can you beat it. There is always a new thing waiting for you, and if u dis agree with this i dont really care. Flame cry w/e its for real though and i know many many people who would have left this game long ago if it wasnt for pvp.
again if u dont agree with this, just wait until they nerf the one thing u like to do then just think about waht u can do from now on
thats my 2 cents

Yeah, PvP so unimportant that they had a World Tournament with a 50,000 cash prize to get people to play it, right?

If I could change just 1 item in Guild Wars? Mmmm hard here is my top 10 wish list
1st The ability to have just one word character names, I would also increase the number of character allowed in your name / pet name.
2nd Storage and a dye trader in Pre-searing as the other noobie areas all have storage and dye merchants.
3rd That the cost of dyes is fixed at a set rate say 100g to 250gold to allow for more variety on peoples armour.
4th wish that the game had more character customisation options i.e. weight, eye colour, tattoos, underwear, piercing, hats/bonnets, hair length and the ability to have missing limbs after all guild wars is a tough place to live.
5th
Indoor environments such as pubs, inns, churches, homes, castles that we can loot
6th
Larger variety of animals in the world, I have more beasts in my backyard than guild wars have i.e. birds, bugs and fish.
7th I would love to see some form of transportation in the world so that if I had a new character and I did not want to walk / fight from say ascalon to the next town I could pay for a lift via a NPC travel agent.
8th That old areas like Pre-Searing still get some form of update wither it be new NPC characters new monsters or vendors. I know that it prob wont happen due to the cost and ANet wanting to draw player into the newer games + cost and the need to pay staff.
9th More common pets added to the charm pet list (cat/dog/fish/pet rock)
And last I would love to see more in game moderation presence with in game mods letting the players know that they are around and watching what players are doing.

PvP is unimportant? When was the last time Anet held a tournament for a PvE event? Never. What would they do, see which guild could clear Fissure the fastest? Who could farm the most experience in an hour?
I'd love to see moderators in the game. There are some things that I see going on (bots, racist comments, excessive cursing for no reason, etc) that maybe need to be monitored just a little bit more. Yeah, I know there's a curse filter, but the problem is not keeping my filter on, it's having to read people cursing each other out on local chat when other people are asking for group members or general advice.

Or they could have worldwide PvE contests like:
"Submit screencaps of your best penis in the minimap!"
"Most creative way to circumvent Trade chat filter."
"Dumbest/Most Offensive character name."
While probably not possible, wouldn't it be great if Anet could drudge up other spamming achievements during the game? Like which Whammo grinded against the most female characters, who's the best at pinging the minimap to death, and what person is unmatched in letting EVERYONE be totally aware that they are wielding greens in all their weapon slots.

Yes.
Looking at it the other way, there is a 50,000 cash prize. Yet not everyone is jumping up and down for it. God it must suck that even the prize fail to entice players. Btw $50,000 is not a prize for a single player, it is divided by god knows how many in your team.

Wow so many things horribly wrong with this post...
I don't need to point out how wrong you are about it being a small unimportant add on. Don't need to point out the world tourny and such, as it's already been done.
To be honest, I don't agree with hardcore PvErs that dislike PvP but occasionally I can respect them. However, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. I've concluded this from the above bolded statement by you.

Remove PvP, great idea, so GW loses over half of its hardcore player base.
Replace sins? actually have you ever watched EviL's use of sins, in the GWFC season, shows perfect use of them, and there abilities in combat
also i think sins have become the pre-nightfall ele.
They have lots of utility skills that are great on alot of diffrent bars, and one or two builds that are actually viable...

great idea, no max damage? you do know that this is a video game, and the amount of realism your asking for wouldnt work in an mmorpg

the good thing about making everything accesiable is it turns the game in turn as you can only work on improving your skill, and not worrying about having the leetest weapon or skills available
anyways i probably shouldnt be so critical on everyone, it is what they want, so w/e , its your thoughts
but what i want:
--
Hero Battles (no not HA) to have some sort of reward other then faction
a better GvG match making system that would somehow reduce the amount of top 10 players i have to play in gvgpugs, smurfs, and other guilds that they arent apart of
make PvE more difficult, or just provide other areas like UW
Fix These:
Rampage as One
Searing Flames
Motivation Paragons
Spoil Victor
Remove These:
Heros in PvP (obviously not Hero Battles
titles in my opionion, i think you should limit titles or make them alot harder to show, i.e having higher requirements, having a title really doesnt mean much because most titles u can show in less then a weekends worth of a work
Add These:
Better LFG System
More gameplay situations that would encourage elite PvE and elite PvP to come together, hold hands, and sing happy songs about how we finally all get along

Please, If you're going to quote me, quote the whole thing. Meanwhile, I'm sorry to hear that you don't like grouping with people who are more than capable of completing any mission, any challenge (and has) with regular Henchies who also likes the social interaction of decent PUGs.
Back on topic, I'd change the ABs to have several balanced maps instead of the lop-sided things they've got now. (Even though I do see the reasoning behind the way they are.)

Leave everything to the player interactions, it is basically the essential point of GW. Hell, even PvE is P2P based instanced environment, and the NPC AI has been approaching to human player closer during time.
To say PVP is not important part of GW, is like saying a car's essential function is not getting yourself from A to B.

I'd want to change the noises that monsters make. I mean sure they're monsters but when I hear kirin and ice imps and the such I just imagine myself squashing them with my big toe.

I'd make Anet hire more people, so they could 1. actually finish a chapter before releasing it, to avoid gigs of updates; 2. settle some overdue technical issues; 3. keep up with botters.
As for the simpler things in life, I'd just like for my FPS to stop dropping to 1 and packets to 0.

Well duh, have you ever seen a World PvE Tournament?
Honestly, if you're gonna argue this, do it properly.
